FESTIVAL GREEN MACHINE
Supporting people to attend and volunteer at music festivals.
About
Festival Green MACHINE
By managing an inclusive and diverse team, Festival Green Machine helps to give disabled and disadvantaged people the chance to attend festivals in return for volunteering.
The work mainly involves helping festival organisers make their festival sustainable. We do this by ensuring the venue is clean, tidy, the waste recycled correctly and we can provide advice for waste collections to the people attending. We also offer sustainable advice, disability and autism access advice.
We have worked with many festivals directly and with contractors. From Reading to Bestival and a lot in between.
“We at Teddy Rocks festival have been working with Green Machine for several years now and it is always a real pleasure to work with them. Every year they take time to communicate and plan with us well in advance and are always smiling!
It is wonderful to see them working with our various teams and they always leave the place spotless! We would wholeheartedly recommend the Green Machine team to any event that wants to create symbiotic relationships like this.“

“Over the years Green Machine has offered via our volunteering schemes some really great work opportunities to disadvantaged people and people with learning disabilities. It’s wonderful to see them all working together at our music festivals as part of a team. It is for us a fantastic opportunity to both get some help through volunteers and give something back to the local community. Green Machines work and efforts can only be recommended.”
